Contact usHealthCommons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing communities, organizations, researchers, healthcare professionals, funders, businesses, policymakers, and supporters together to address public health challenges.
We provide a collaborative platform where communities can tell their stories, raise awareness, build meaningful partnerships, and secure funding for initiatives that improve health and well-being.
Our mission is simple: empower communities by giving them the visibility, connections, and resources needed to create lasting change.
Yes. HealthCommons is organized as a nonprofit organization and is currently in the process of obtaining federal tax-exempt recognition under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Individuals, community members, nonprofit organizations, researchers, schools, healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, and other mission-driven groups are welcome to submit campaigns. Their campaigns can support any health-related cause, from mental health and food security to research that advances the field.
Every campaign submitted to HealthCommons is manually reviewed within 24 hours before publication to help ensure the integrity of the platform and the safety of our community.
HealthCommons believes meaningful public health begins with listening to the communities living the story.
Every campaign begins with people sharing the challenges they see, the work they are doing, and the future they hope to create. We believe every community has a story worth telling, and those stories deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.
Every campaign on HealthCommons turns a community story into action in four ways.
Tell your story. Share your community's experiences, challenges, successes, and vision through a platform designed to elevate local voices.
Raise awareness. HealthCommons helps amplify campaigns through our website, social media channels, newsletters, and growing community network, increasing visibility and helping important public health stories reach new audiences.
Raise funds. Secure financial support through a trusted, transparent fundraising platform designed specifically for community-driven public health initiatives.
Build partnerships. Connect with researchers, healthcare professionals, nonprofit organizations, businesses, volunteers, policymakers, funders, and community advocates who can contribute expertise, resources, and long-term collaboration.
Meaningful impact is created when communities are empowered not only with funding but also with visibility, relationships, and shared purpose. Our goal is to help transform local challenges into collaborative solutions that improve health for everyone.
