HealthCommons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities to address public health challenges through storytelling, awareness, collaboration, and fundraising.
Our platform enables individuals, community organizations, researchers, healthcare professionals, nonprofits, schools, advocacy organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to share public health initiatives, build partnerships, and raise funds for projects that improve community health and well-being.
HealthCommons is currently seeking recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

HealthCommons cannot guarantee the success of any fundraising campaign or specific project outcomes.
Donors are encouraged to review campaign information carefully before making a contribution.
HealthCommons retains a 5% platform fee from donations received through the Platform.

HealthCommons may modify its fee structure in the future. Any changes will be communicated through the Platform before taking effect.
All financial transactions are securely processed through Stripe.
By making a donation or receiving funds through HealthCommons, users agree to comply with Stripe's applicable terms and policies.
HealthCommons does not store complete payment card information.
Verified campaign organizers receive fund disbursements weekly.
HealthCommons reserves the right to delay distributions when additional verification is necessary or when fraud, security concerns, or legal compliance issues are identified.
Campaign organizers are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
Campaign organizers agree to:
Campaign organizers are responsible for any applicable taxes or reporting obligations related to funds received.
Donors are responsible for reviewing campaign information before contributing.
Donors acknowledge that donations are voluntary and are intended to support the campaign selected.
HealthCommons is not responsible for the success or outcome of any individual campaign.
Because donations are distributed to campaign organizers on a regular basis, donations are generally non-refundable once processed.

By submitting content to HealthCommons, users grant HealthCommons a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute, and promote submitted content for purposes related to operating and promoting the Platform.
Users represent that they have the necessary rights to all submitted content.

HealthCommons may suspend or terminate user accounts or campaigns for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, legal requirements, or conduct inconsistent with the mission of the organization.
Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.
HealthCommons provides a platform that facilitates storytelling, fundraising, awareness, and collaboration.
While HealthCommons reviews campaigns before publication, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every statement made by campaign organizers, nor can we guarantee fundraising outcomes or project success.
Users participate at their own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HealthCommons shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
HealthCommons may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated Effective Date.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
